Wild Forest

Explore the magic and lore living in the woods and wilds of Orchard Hill. We will share ancient practices of fire tending, shelter building, storytelling, playing forest games, and treks. Children will join in thanksgiving circle and all camp sing to celebrate the summer. Prepare to get dirty, have fun and explore the wild.

Once again, Sankofa Dance Theater’s West African village comes to life. Led by the Ajanku family, campers and staff join in Community Circle, West African Dance and Drumming, tie dying t-shirts and at the end of the week, an unforgettable performance. In the words of campers over the years, this week is “The thrill of a lifetime." Don’t miss it!
This is the group to sign up for if your kid is between 9 and 14. We will split this group into two groups, one older and one younger depending on who signs up.
