SENDING & RECEIVING SMS TEXT MESSAGES WITHIN LINSEED:
1. SEND A SINGLE MESSAGE (or start a conversation) WITH ONE PERSON:
Go to the person's record and click on the button in the top right corner. From here it should be obvious.
2.SEND THE SAME MESSAGE TO A GROUP OF PEOPLE:
First, find your group of people in the PEOPLE cabinet using
or .
Then click on the button, then choose COMPOSE.
Once you compose your message, you will need to click on each person to send each message separately.
3. SEND A PRE-FORMATTED MESSAGE TAG (with custom field or form options) TO ONE PERSON:
If it doesn't already exist, create a SMS TAG in the tags cabinet.
Then from the notes/tags section of a person's record, apply the TAG (just like any other tag).
4. SEND A PRE-FORMATTED MESSAGE TAG (with custom field or form options) TO MANY PEOPLE:
If it doesn't already exist, create a SMS TAG in the tags cabinet.
find your group of people in the PEOPLE cabinet using
or .
Use the TAGGER tool to apply the SMS TAG to each person in your group.
WHAT IF SOMEONE REPLIES TO A MESSAGE THAT I SENT?
If you are in a conversation with a single person, replies will automatically appear on that person's record.
If you are doing other work in Linseed, you will notice incoming messages as a menu item on the left sidebar.
If you have not sent a message to someone within the past 20 minutes, you may also recieve an SMS notification on your own cell phone that someone has replied to you in Linseed.
HOW LONG WILL A CONVERSATION STAY IN LINSEED?
Conversations will be retained for (7) days and then they will automatically disappear.
